THEDA BARA as CLEOPATRA

Long before Elizabeth Taylor and the many other actresses who have portrayed the Queen of the Nile on screen, there was Theda Bara, the original vamp. Her pale face and amazing costumes gave a faint nod to ancient Egypt, but in 1917, her Cleopatra was a sensation. Sadly, this silent classic is now lost and only stills remain. From those, I have added color to Theda's black and white world and pains-takingly rendered seven authentic outfits. 5 page set, $40
